A CHRISTMAS TEA WITH MR. DICKENS
"One of the most delightful traditions of Victorian
was the practice of taking tea."
This event offers two options for your group, a High Tea or Luncheon Tea. The Teas are held in a period Holiday setting with Victorian Holiday music performed by period-clad musicians and with the entire service staff also in costume, whose sole purpose is to make you feel like a queen. After a delicious tea, your guests are treated to a live one-man performance of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol by Howard Burnham who is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts of London, England.
The Teas have become an annual must-attend event
for many...A True Holiday Tradition. Make it yours.
Howard Burnham, a true Shakespearian actor and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London, shares the tale of Scrooge in a one-man production of Dickens own "A Christmas Carol." This classic tale highlights the spirit of the holiday and all things good and just.
The Dickens Victorian Teas are an annual must attend holiday event that embodies the customary practice of this ritual as done by generations past. People of all ages from Grandchildren to Grandparents will enjoy the relaxed pace of this time honored tradition and have a memorable experience surely to be cherished by all.
Take part in this longstanding Tradition and join us this year.
Teas will be held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
