Whether you are looking for a one day excursion or a multi-day adventure, we will gladly customize an affordable package to fit your group specific needs. A National-Award Winning Event that provides a magical, Victorian themed shopping experience, featuring 350 period-clad vendors hawking everything from fine arts, crafts, imported gifts, gourmet foods, clothing, jewelry, toys, Christmas décor and much more. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Strolling Victorian Musicians, Tea Leaf Readers, Punch & Judy Shows, Shadow Box Displays, a Life Sized Historic Santa through the Ages Exhibit and a real Live Santa, each lend their own charm to the show. Plus there are the elaborate Festival displays of Trees, Tables, Wreaths and the Festival of Worlds that add to the experience too! All displays are available for purchase at silent auction with 100% of the funds going to the sponsoring non profit.
New for this year is the stage at Hyde Park, where dozens of presenters will be demonstrating everything from holiday recipes to making decorations and lots more. Adding further to the extensive list of activities that the visitor will enjoy.

Dickens Holiday Teas
This event offers two options for your group, a High Tea or Luncheon Tea. The Teas are held in a period Holiday setting with Victorian Holiday music performed by period-clad musicians and with the entire service staff also in costume, who are there to may you feel like Queen Victoria. After delicious tea, your guests are treated to a live one-man performance of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" by Howard Burnham (who just happens to be a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London).

2014 Holiday Tour
Holiday Traditions of the Low Country

This year’s holiday tour, takes you to Historic Georgetown County, where you will be entertained with tales of Southern Victorian Holiday Traditions, many of which are still practiced today and of course history, history and history. The city of Georgetown is your first stop. It’s the third oldest city in the state, boasting oak-lined avenues with dozens of majestic antebellum mansions, a scenic Harbor Walk, all rich with Pre-Revolutionary, Civil War and Victorian History.
The tour includes the interiors of The Kaminski House Museum (circa 1769) renowned for its collection of American antique furniture. And the Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church (circa 1755), one of a few, Colonial structures still, in use, in the whole county.
The center of the Heroic District is Front Street, also rich with historical tales, buildings and variety of interesting shops, which you will be given the opportunity to visit!!
Then it's on to Mansfield Plantation (Established 1718). These thousand acres of history offers the visitor a look into an authentic plantation and its age old holiday traditions. The plantation grounds still, retain many of their original buildings including the small cabins, chapels, a threshing mill (originally a Rice Plantation) and much more.
The highlighting of the tour is the Authentic Victorian Holiday Luncheon/Tea held inside the Historic Mansfield Plantation House.

For an awesome family holiday event choose Ripley Aquariums Annual Festival of Trees which is included at no charge with regular aquarium admission. The Annual Festival of Trees is from November 1 until December 31 and displays more then 50 adorned trees unique to each of these great United States. Some of the festival's most unique trees include a glistening white Alaska tree, a Kentucky Derby inspired red roses tree, Nevada's tree complete with a showgirl in feather headdress, the all patriotic Pennsylvania tree and the magnificently decorated Mardi Gras tree with masks and beads representing Louisiana. And during your visit you will play Tree Scavenger Hunt, a unique tree trivia game, available at no charge from the Guest Service desk. This facts-based game will have guests shouting out the answers and testing their knowledge about the state trees. Hours: open daily at 9am.
